My approach to teaching yoga is simple; regardless of whether you attend a class or have one to one tuition, your practice should be safe, effective and fun.

We are of course all very different, physically, emotionally and in what we expect from our practice. These differences mean that both I as your teacher and you as the student have a responsibility to approach yoga with both sensitivity and awareness, mindful of contra- indications and modification as we progress. In practice this means a focussed and appropriate warm-up of the body, time to enjoy and absorb the effects of the practice and a structured cool down period prior to relaxation and meditation.

It is also my philosophy that yoga should be fun and so I encourage smiling and going with the flow.

All new students will be asked to complete a Medical Form.
